PERSONAL THOUGHT

    This is just personal and I choose to share this for all who read it. Comments are appreciated.

    I received a criticism on my personal Facebook page. The 'wall' place. No one else can see it place. That I can handle but it was more. It was from a family member that expressed a dissatisfaction with something I had not done. Had NOT done. It had to do with visits, letters and/or phone calls. It was personal and showed hurt on the side doing the critique. 

    Here is my take. This person(s)has my personal phone number. My address. Everything needed to communicate this hurt. But to put it on a Facebook page? C'mon! When the hurt is so bad that you wish to express it, I believe in the personal touch. Call me! Since you live a world away, or it seems like it to me, CALL ME! Get it out. Ask your questions. Get it over with. 

    An argument was brought up about the definition of family. Family is a perception not necessarily a biological happening. I am adopted. Is my family the one that raised me or the one who put me up for adoption? Is my family my closest friends that I share intimate things with and has my  back? If you are an 'only' grandson/daughter, does that give you special treatment in my heart? Or is my heart big enough to love all equally? If I ever had to choose, which would it be? My best friend who never hurt me or my estranged brother that fought with me forever.
