STILL AMAZED

Wow. Beer, wine and a ton of fruit (some bbq'd) add to some interesting ideas, thoughts and concepts. In no particular order.......If The Samaritan Center is doing so poorly that they are advertising for donations, does that mean they have defaulted on bills? Or loans? That's the lady 2 doors down.

After the tree lighting and Mayor Huber announced the new movie theater, this question/thought came up. Why? What happens during rebuild to the other shops closing, being moved out of the way or just trying to get by? during construction, how much business tax revenue will the city lose? How about the shoppers?

What is going on with the stories in the Ventura Star about our cemetery? First we learn of a new board. Then we learn of one resigning. What is going on and should we even care? Wasn't there an article in the paper years ago about the county cemetery owing a ton of money to the city thru a loan? Was it paid? Who loaned it and who was paid? Just informed by my wife it was a loan made in 1996.

By the way, using an excuse that "I can drink more, I ate a ton of fruit!"doesn't work.  SOMEONE got fairly plastered.

That's it for now.
