Hirsch can turn schools around

I am not happy with our current school board in Simi Valley. I mean, look at what they have done with our schools.
The retirement incentive that Rob Collins speaks of was created to accommodate our current superintendent’s exit from our broken school system. They closed our oldest school in Simi due to a lack of money to keep up with current repairs and maintenance. They shifted students around to lowerperforming schools for further drains on the budget. And in only three years, our school district will only have a surplus of $45,000. That is bad, really bad.
Where's the story?PointsMentioned Map1 Points Mentioned
We have six candidates running for school board this year. We are finally fed up with our puppet master Superintendent Scroggin and her minions, Davis, Sandland and Collins. We need more elected board members such as Dan White, who cares deeply about our school system and budgeting. We have a questionable candidate in Bill Daniels, who is a Simi police officer and is head of the officers union here. But isn’t the union one of our problems with our schools?
I am voting for Josie Hirsch because she has long-term goals to turn our schools around. She will refuse budgeting for only one year at a time. It takes long-term budgeting to keep track of progress being made. Our schools are in danger because of this and past leadership having the state take over our school system. She has plans to keep our kids safe from bullies and drugs. She wants to team up with Dan White to provide the most up-to-date tools to educate our children.
