So let me get this straight. We have a Simi Valley councilman, and L.A. cop, accused by the Democratic Party of crossing the line by showing really gross photos/videos on facebook? And his response is "it's freedom of speech" and his facebook page "for friends" is personal and shouldn't be looked at in a bad context. Really?
I requested and was granted to be a "friend" about 6 months ago. Did I turn him in? Nope! But by not being careful he granted that view of his private feelings and is paying the price. Should he resign? Up to the council. The Mayor will try to sidestep it, but he needs that vote along with Mashburn's to keep him in power until the next election. Let's see what the Mayor, who professes to be a moral legal type, does.
It was NEVER like this under Paul Miller as Mayor.
