Councilman Sojka is in the news again with a follow up on his arrest in ANOTHER city for driving under the influence of alcohol. The story lists his plea, which is neither guilty or not guilty and his punishment.
We shall all wait and see what all the citizens of Simi Valley say about this as they forget the 16 years of service to our city. All those who complain apparently have NEVER committed a misdemeanor they were caught at. They NEVER had even 1 drink and then drove home. Maybe we are such a safe city is because we have so many PERFECT people living here.
Perhaps Mr. Sojka's private infraction would not have been noticed if, as the press states, a Simi Valley police officer had not contacted the officers in ANOTHER city to inquire about it. I guess we are safer as citizens because Simi Valley Police Dept use an extremely long arm to attack what it perceives as a threat. Union thing?
